I bought this primarily to be able to make toys for my three-year-old grandson out of the enormous amount of cardboard that we seem to accumulate. He is only in the UK for six weeks so while I want to provide toys and stimulation I don't really want to spend huge amounts on conventional toys that then have to be discarded when he leaves. What surprised me was the amount of input a three-year-old has in the creative process. His ideas are better than mine and we spend a lot of time problem-solving together. Cardboard, Makedoe and a batch of ping pong balls provide seemingly endless entertainment for child and grandmother!
