United KingdomFantastic for stretching the imagination
I bought this primarily to be able to make toys for my three-year-old grandson out of the enormous amount of cardboard that we seem to accumulate. He is only in the UK for six weeks so while I want to provide toys and stimulation I don't really want to spend huge amounts on conventional toys that then have to be discarded when he leaves. What surprised me was the amount of input a three-year-old has in the creative process. His ideas are better than mine and we spend a lot of time problem-solving together. Cardboard, Makedoe and a batch of ping pong balls provide seemingly endless entertainment for child and grandmother!

I originally had a problem with this product as the picture displayed on the OnBuy website was not the product you were supplying. I originally ordered this item in November from a well known online retailer as a Christmas gift. However, a few days before Christmas, they cancelled the order with no explanation. I ordered directly from Bigjigs and added express delivery. As there were only 2 days left to Christmas, I didn't hold out much hope that it would arrive in time, but it arrived early next day! Communication on order status was excellent, and Bigjigs dispatched the order a couple of hours after I'd ordered. Christmas saved! As it was a gift for my nephew, I can't comment on use, but he was super excited to receive it on Christmas Day. All in all, an excellent customer experience in ordering and receiving the item and I would certainly order direct from Bigjigs again in future.

The Makedo sets were obviously in great demand. I was emailed when new stock arrived. I’d have preferred the larger set with more tools but that wasn’t availability. I was happy that I at least had sets to give and they arrived in time for Christmas.
