The babies their current favourite toy is this a d o r a b l e pull-along brick cart from @bigjigstoys Roman loves to use it for construction play which in turn gives him the opportunity to teach Marley colour & shape names. Fitting the blocks back into the cart properly is great for his problem solving & reasoning skills & I love that I can now hear him saying things like ‘this shape has a circle face’ or ‘this cuboid is taller than this cuboid’. P R O U D ! Marley loves it - as with everything at the moment - for the imaginative play. From dolls to books, pants to bags of microwaveable rice - nothing has been left behind or missed its chance to be pulled around in the back of that cart this week! She is still at the stage where she is exploring cause & effect so enjoys building towers just to knock them down but it has been lovely to see her learning with - & from - Roman. Plus it’s a great resource for her to unknowingly develop her fine & gross motor skills! Last but not least, I love it because it is so a e s t h e t i c a l l y pleasing.
