We brought this as a gift for our nephew. He absolutely loves it. The cat and the bird in the tree for the firemen to rescue were a great surprise. It’s a great toy train set and he’s happily racing the fire train and fire engine around with his big sister.

To say we are completely in love with the Bigjigs Rail Fire Station Train Set is an understatement. This brilliant new train set can be played with by itself, or links in seamlessly with your existing train track. This is ideal for children who like trains and fire engines. The set includes a fire engine, fire train, a tree with a cat stuck up it, some firemen, a really cool fire station and lots of track. It's a great investment piece, there's lots to it so it has already formed the cornerstone of our train set collection. Very well made, very well thought out, we love love love it!
Brilliant Train Set
When we spotted the Bigjigs Rail Fire Station Train Set I knew we had to have it. My son loved his train set and plays with it every day. He also loves everything to do with fire engines. I'm not sure why it's taken Bigjigs this long to marry the two, but it's a match made in little boy heaven! This brilliant (stand alone) train set contains a good amount of track, a fire engine, a fire train, a tree and cat, a fire station and some firemen. To say this is the best thing we've ever bought him may be something of an understatement. He has had hours and hours of fun with it already and it links seamlessly with his existing train track and accessories and he's well on his way to creating his own wooden train town. It's very well made, robust and well painted, the pieces have smooth edges and are easy to put together. He even looked at the instructions for grown ups and managed to follow them himself. Would I recommend this? Yes, it's fantastic, can't fault it. If your little one likes trains and fire engines, then there is no more perfect gift!
